And so it begins...

For the past few years, Matt and I have been hoping to start a family. Within the past few months, we have really looked to God for guidance. After a great deal of prayer, we believe that God is leading us toward adoption.

We spent quite a bit of time researching agencies, attending orientations/conferences and interviewing Adoption Counselors. We have decided to work with Christian Family Care Agency. In addition to being a Christian organization, they are located in Phoenix which makes it a lot more convenient for us.

Our first appointment with our Adoption Counselor, Sharon, was today. We both really like her, and are excited that she will be taking us through this process. We begin our adoption education classes in two weeks, and have about 100 pages of information to complete. Totally worth it all!!
